Christina Law (1975–2020)

Vancouver BC
Canada

Despite her leukemia diagnosis and the extremely challenging treatments that ensued for years, her positivity never wavered.

Christina had many wonderful qualities. The most remarkable quality was her perpetual positivity. It is without exaggeration that she always saw the bright side of things and she always assumed only the best in others. So much so that one of her cousins called her a net positive person.

Despite her leukemia diagnosis and the extremely challenging treatments that ensued for years, her positivity never wavered. In fact, she was always full of hope, full of love and full of positive energy. Christina did more than just talk the talk, she literally walked the walk by participating in the Light The Night Walk since 2004.

In addition to her actively supporting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada and Light The Night events, Christina also volunteered in stem cell donors registry drives and participated in patient care research workshops. She took time and energy on those activities with one clear objective in her mind: to give hope to others.

Today we honour Christina by following her example in spreading positivity and hope. We continue our LLSC fundraising efforts and participation in Light The Night as well as championing for blood donations, stem cell registry and other related causes. We vow to keep her legacy alive by channeling her positivity through our actions!
