When blood cancer does not go away

Cancer isn’t always a one-time event. Some cancers can be closely monitored and treated, but will not completely go away. They can be treated like a chronic illness, much like diabetes or heart disease. The cancer may be controlled or managed with treatment but it may not completely go away and stay away.
